1. I’m going for Nowi/Donnel. The idea of a simple farm boy meeting an ancient dragon girl and falling for her… it sounds like straight out of a fantasy book and I couldn’t let it pass haha
2. Upon arriving in the past, the kids probably wandered aimlessly searching for the others or tried to get to Ylisse but couldn’t due to unforeseen circumstances. Nah might have landed in that island after the time travel and could’t find a way to reach the mainland and happened to find the manor, where she thought of seeking shelter only to find it was crawling with enemies?
But seriously, I have no idea.
Before someone finds me at my monitor and chokes me, I do really like the concept of this and your own art. However, sometimes it's too wrought with melodrama to actually feel... compelling? I feel like some of the depth to the characters are lost, like Stahl's inner strength. As an example he's not so easily discouraged like how you portrayed him. If it isn't too presumptuous of me, might I suggest looking up supports aside from the pairings used, to avoid contradictions like in Henry's story?
Hey there! First things first, thanks for the criticism, I really appreciate it!
To be honest, I believe I’m a decent artist but I’ve never been particularly good at storytelling - I do have a tendency to make things melodramatic (with pretty much EVERYTHING. Reasons why I don’t share my original stories with the world orz), and my biggest disappointment with Henry’s story is that he did come off as OOC and I had more than half of the comic done and I didn’t know how to fix it! But as I was rather pleased with the visual result, I decided to finish it anyway.
With Lissa’s story I’m hoping to keep her as in-character and make things as accurate to canon as possible while still maintaining the dramatic approach to the setting. This will be a challenge but I hope to meet your expectations!
As for Stahl’s story, making him more meek was mostly for comedic reasons than anything else. Though I’d say that by joining Valm’s army to fight for Cherche’s homeland and to be in the frontline of the main conflict of the time, Stahl’s shown to have more inner strength than most people. But I’m sorry if this approach wasn’t to your liking, I do hope the following stories will be more satisfying to read. =)
#fire emblem awakening
Regent Queen Lissa in battle gear - because god knows how “battle gowns” make me cringe.
It has elements of both Sage and Valkyrie’s clothes, with Emmeryn’s colors (which I decided to use on older Lissa as a homage to her late sister), but for all that matters, her class is Valkyrie
because riding horses make you look fucking classy
Now that I’ve finished Henry and Panne’s storyline, I guess I’ll finally get to work on Lissa and Lon’qu. It was my headcanon for her that started this blog anyway.
Kellam and Olivia is literally one of my favorites! You should check it out! :)
I will! Thanks for the suggestion! =)
If you he hasn't been taken, would you consider perhaps pairing Miriel with Gregor? I thought their supports were really cute, is all. :>
I’ll check it out :) Thanks for the suggestion!
Say, since you've started this project, we're there any pairings that you've changed your mind on in the process? Are there still some you're thinking about? It's a very interesting project; I look forward to a lot more! c:
At first I was going for Stahl/Sully and Virion/Cherche, but I changed my mind after my third playthrough. I also like the idea of the four of them being very good friends! :)
As of now, I still have to decide on Miriel and Olivia’s pairings.
